ClarkWestern Awarded Excellence in Construction For Contractor's Contract less than $1Million

June 1st, 2009 – ClarkWestern was recently honored by AWCI (Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry) with the Excellence in Construction Quality Award for Contractor’s Contract less than $1 Million.  This recognition is given to the AWCI member contractor(s), manufacturer and suppliers who participate in a quality construction project.

The Christ Church United Methodist located in Louisville, KY was in need of an expansion and multiple updates to keep up with their ever growing parishioners.    Technological upgrades such as built-in track lighting in the walls and ceilings and built-in speakers in the columns were some of the needed additions.  Other design elements in the project included arched windows, numerous skylights, and aesthetic arches in the hallway connecting the old church to the new sanctuary.  ClarkWestern had an opportunity to be a part of this job by providing the steel framing that was used throughout the sanctuary and balcony along with other areas of the church.

The award was recently announced during the AWCI Convention and INTEX Expo in Nashville, TN and CW was honored along with Grayhawk, LLC, the member contractor and Nexgen Building Supply.
