How does ClarkWestern’s MaxTrak system compare to
 traditional deep leg deflection track?

The MaxTrak system is attached to the wall studs through vertical slots using waferhead screws creating a positive connection that allows for vertical movement. This connection increases the allowable load of the deflection track system. This connection also stops the stud from rotating eliminating the requirement for lateral bracing near the top of the wall stud.

Traditional deflection track systems do not have a connection to the stud so the load is applied to only one track leg. This reduces the deflection track’s allowable load by almost half. Traditional deflection track also requires lateral bracing near the top of the wall stud to eliminate stud rotation since it is not attached to the top track.

MaxTrak's one-piece system reduces the cost of materials and labor.
