Dade City Facility Receives Pasco County Best Places to Work Award

May 14, 2009 - The Dade City Facility received the Pasco Hernando Best Places to Work Award for the second consecutive year.  The award ceremony was held at the Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club on Thursday, May 14, 2009.  There were approximately 120 people who attended the award ceremony.  Sixty one companies completed the 40 question survey.  The survey questions were intentionally designed to be objective and measureable.  The survey allowed the organizations that participated to be ranked in 37 different categories.  The rankings were then grouped into categories and weighted according to their importance. 

The weight for determining which companies would be recognized was as follows:

Turnover, Growth, Training and Promotion   = 50%
Benefits                                                   = 15%
Written responses to final three questions  = 15%
Profit Sharing, Bonus and Pay                   = 10%
Working Environment                                = 5%
Retirement Programs                                = 5%

Due to our vision and values, the continued training, and the practices we use to retain and attract employees, as well as our generous benefits plans, ClarkWestern was the winner of this award.
