QUALITY EDGE ENTERS INTO STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH ClarkWestern

Growth Brings Additional Product Lines, Strengthens Channels 

Walker, Michigan – June 22, 2006: Quality Edge, one of the fastest growing roofing and siding accessory companies in the U.S., announced today that they have reached an agreement with ClarkWestern (formerly Dale), to enter into a strategic partnership. The first step in this strategic alliance is the purchase of ClarkWestern’s roofing divison. Located in Dearborn, MI, ClarkWestern’s roofing business has been supplying the roofing products industry for over fifty years. This partnership provides an opportunity for each company to promote their respective product lines.  It is the first of several strategic moves to position Quality Edge as the nation’s best and largest roofing accessory company.

This alliance is the result of synergies between the two companies bringing together, under one roof, best in class products and service.  During the month of July, Quality Edge and ClarkWestern will be building the necessary inventory to ensure there is no disruption to service during the transition.  Effective August 1, 2006, all orders will be received at and shipped from Quality Edge’s facility in Walker, Michigan.
